6TH GRADE COURSE SCHEDULING

Welcome to Bloom-Carroll Middle School. As we near the start of the 2023-2024 school year, we are already making preparation to ensure your child is placed into appropriate courses for 6th grade.  Information is needed from you, however, regarding selection of an elective course, in order to complete your child's schedule.  
 
At BCMS, all elective course selections are completed online; thus, allowing you to enter course requests with your child at home. The time frame to enter your child’s online requests will be Tuesday, May 10, 2023- Monday, May 16, 2023.  Please review the required and elective courses below in preparation of selecting your your child’s elective course for 6th grade. ELECTIVE COURSES
All 6th Grade students are required to sign up for one of the following music options:
 
  • Band (Parent/guardian responsibility to secure instrument)
  • Choir
  • Band and Choir (Alternating Days)

*Students are not permitted to take a yearlong elective study hall and a semester elective study hall.  Please choose one or the other.
