Language Arts:
In third grade, we are using a variety of
fiction and nonfiction examples from our Journey’s text and novels to
incorporate our standards. In the stories from our text, students will
determine the central message/main idea of each story. Students will then be
able to identify the key ideas (details) to support the main idea. This is a
challenging concept and takes repeated practice at school and at home.
Math:
Our math curriculum is Pearson enVision math 2.0. Students will have
access to online materials, resources and games. For the first quarter we will
