Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Bloom-Carroll Elementary School

Ribbon-Cutting
Please join us for the new Bloom-Carroll Elementary School Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, August 11th from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

This is an opportunity for our school district residents to tour the new school which has been provided through their support. Families/students and staff are welcome to attend; however, there will also be a traditional back to school open house on separate dates for BC Elementary School students (K-5) and parents prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

The event will take place at the school site located at 4955 Carroll Eastern Road. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 4:00 p.m. with self-guided tours.

BCES will serve our littlest Bulldogs in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are proud to share the success of this project as the school building will open on time and within the intended budget. The building will help meet the current needs of our students and will serve our community for generations. The 108,551 SF school features the most relevant safety and security measures, 60 learning spaces, 10 small group rooms, and several flexible spaces including a cafeteria for seating over 450 students. As part of this project, the students and community will now have access to five new tennis courts.

BCHS student ambassadors will be in attendance to assist along with music and cheers performed by the BCHS Marching Band Members, Cheerleaders, and Bruiser the Bulldog. The Kona Ice truck will also be on hand. Come out and join us to celebrate the grand opening of the new Bloom-Carroll Elementary School!

Thank you,
Shawn Haughn
Superintendent
