Dear Bloom-Carroll Parents and Staff,

The Bloom-Carroll Primary School (K-2) will transition to remote learning (Orange Instructional Status Level) on Thursday, December 17th and Friday, December 18th due to high rates of staff absenteeism associated with staff illnesses and quarantines.

All available staff will report to the school buildings on both days. Teachers will communicate and provide learning activities with their classes tomorrow and Friday through Class Dojo and/or Google Classroom.

It is our hope that these two extra days prior to winter break will help provide the time needed for staffing levels to return to an appropriate level for in-person instruction.

At this time, both the Intermediate and Middle Schools – grades 3-8 – remain operating on our Modified Green Instructional Status Level.

The Primary School (K-2) and High School (9-12) are now operating on our Orange Status Level.

More information will be shared on or by December 30th as to our instructional status levels after the break.
