French Club Visit
On Friday Sept 9, a group of 34 students from the French 4 and 5 classes paid a visit to the Columbus Museum of Art to see the special exhibit, “Picasso: The Great War, Experimentation and Change”. The works of art included dozens of oil paintings, watercolors, drawings and four ballet costumes that Picasso designed for Jean Cocteau’s Parade as well as a special section featuring ceramics decorated by the artist in conjunction with Maduro pottery. After the Picasso exhibit, students were able to explore the rest of the museum and the day ended with lunch in Bexley. A great time was had by all!
