High School

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome Back!  It’s hard to believe, but we are nearing the start of a new school year.  We would like to officially welcome new and returning families to Bloom-Carroll High School.  We are very excited for the upcoming school year and the opportunity to engage our students and families in the high school experience together.  We are truly honored to be working with our dedicated staff to provide the best academic instruction and outstanding extra-curricular opportunities to assist in the development of our students to be college and career ready once they graduate from BCHS.

We want to thank our maintenance staff for providing the students, staff and community with a clean and safe educational environment.  We have added classroom air conditioning units to our building completing the project on the second floor.  Our technology staff has continued to increase the amount of desktop and mobile devices for our students and their ever-changing 21st century learning skills.  Finally, our teaching staff is constantly improving and developing educational strategies to increase student achievement and to build relationships in the classroom.

We would like to invite all of our BCHS students and families grade 9-12 on Monday, August 13, from 5:30 to 7:00 to our Back to School Bulldog Kick Off/Open House.  Join us for a Meet and Greet with teachers and friends, Music, Food & Drinks, Student Schedule Pick up, Tours of the Building, and much more as we celebrate the start to the new school year.

Please make note of a few important dates listed below:

=         Monday, August 13-Back to School Bulldog Kickoff-Grades 9-12 - 5:30-7:00

=         Wednesday, August 15 – First day of School - start time is 7:30 a.m.

=         November 1 & 8 Parent-Teacher Conferences

On behalf of our staff, we want to thank you for your commitment to student success and invite you to our many BCHS events throughout the 2018-2019 school year.  Building a strong home-school partnership is important to us and is vital to a student’s successful educational journey.   We look forward to a very positive and productive year together and encourage you to contact us if or when the need arises.

Go Bulldogs!
