BCLSD COVID Operational Guidelines & Continuity of Services
Governor DeWine has requested that school districts design plans that address the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services to meet the needs of students for the 21-22 school year.

The Bloom-Carroll Local School District has been providing face-to-face instruction, five days a week, to our students since October 5, 2020. We have maintained the same standard of high expectations as in previous years. We consistently monitor student progress and use all available data to make decisions that support individual student needs. We have prioritized the academic needs and the social and emotional well-being of our students during the pandemic. The physical and mental health of each child, staff member, and our community will continue to be the driving force in our decision making process. Balancing the needs of our students and the opinions of our stakeholders has been extremely difficult. We will continue to make every attempt possible to implement protocols and consider the various opinions while providing as close to a “normal” school experience as possible.  As should be expected, our goal is to provide face-to-face instruction, five days a week, to our students during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Please review the attached document outlining the general operating principles for the continuity of services in the Bloom-Carroll Local School District.
