FFA Attends 94th National Convention
FFA
The Bloom Carroll FFA Chapter has been very active this fall by holding meetings, exhibiting at the county fair and competing in career development events such as food science, job interview and parliamentary procedure. BCHS student Lacie Bachman finished in the top 16 of the nation in the FFA Creed Speaking Contest. Congratulations Lacie!

Thirty members of our chapter attended the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN. Students were able to watch national contests, listen to motivational speeches by the National FFA Officers and tour agricultural places around Indianapolis. Students also enjoyed an evening at a haunted farm and an outing at a fun zone. Building relationships within the FFA chapter is a top priority this year so the first FFA Fun Friday was held recently where over half of the chapter attended to compete in pumpkin carving, corn hole and a scavenger hunt. Members also enjoyed line dancing in the ag shop to round out the event.

The FFA is also in the midst of its annual Fall Fundraiser with citrus, apples, cider, BBQ sauce cheese, mustard and dried meat products. Everything except the citrus is OHIO grown or made. See an FFA member or check out the on-line store by clicking this link https://bloomcarroll.myncrsilver.com/. The sale ends Nov. 18. If you want a specific student to receive credit, please type their name in the ADDRESS 2 field on the check-out page. Thanks in advance for supporting the Bloom-Carroll FFA Chapter.
