Congratulations Class of 2019
Grads
The Bloom-Carroll Local School District is preparing to hold our 113th commencement ceremony and we are proud of the Class of 2019. Graduating from high school is a memorable accomplishment and over the next few weeks, our graduates, and their families, will experience an array of emotions. Some of you may be excited for what the future holds and some of you may have a few doubts; however, we believe each graduate is prepared for what lies ahead.

Our staff would like to take a minute to congratulate the Class of 2019. To the parents of our graduates, we thank you for allowing us to partner with you to teach and support your child.

Graduates - It has truly been an honor to serve as your superintendent, and for many of you, previously as your high school and middle school principal during your experience here. Our entire staff has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to lead you and support you in the classroom, in numerous activities, and in the community.

Becoming a graduate of the Bloom-Carroll Local School District is a special accomplishment. However, it is only the launching point for accomplishing your goals and overcoming the challenges life will present. We believe, and you have proven, the time has come for you to take the next step and pursue your dreams. Each of you has displayed your uniqueness and you have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and character it will take to be successful. You come from a special place; the BCLSD is truly unique and you are about to become part of a long list of alumni who have built our values, our character, and our traditions. We have held high academic, social, and behavior expectations for each of you, and you have met the challenge. A long tradition filled past precedes you, and we are thankful to the Class of 2019 for representing the BCLSD with excellence and for adding value to our school district.

In the coming months, many of you will head off to college, the workforce, volunteer, or possibly serve in our nation’s armed forces. Whatever it is you choose, do it to the best of your ability. As you begin your journey, please remember these simple words of advice and encouragement: remember the value of people and relationships, be humble, stay hungry for what is next, and always hustle.

On behalf of the Board of Education, our staff, and community, I want to congratulate the Class of 2019, and we wish each of you the best of luck with your future endeavors. The BCLSD will always be a place you can call home.

Congratulations!

Mr. Haughn
