Stephanie Jackson of Fairfield County Job and Family Services was invited to BCHS to pick up over 50 suitcases stuffed full of personal items that will be given to children entering the Foster Care system here in Fairfield County. This is part of the efforts of a new community outreach program at BC called Sunny Day Suitcases.
This program works to provide local youth with suitcases in which they can place their belongings and never have to experience the indignity of carrying their belongings in a trash bag.
Organizer Stephanie Dinsmore at BCHS would like to send a special thank you to DSW and L-Brands for their generous contributions of personal products donated towards this project.
