Pre-Engineering Students Design Paper Roller Coaters
Roller Coaster

The 7th grade Pre-Engineering students are in the final stages of building their customized paper roller coasters. Teams were required to use the Engineering Design Process to plan and design roller coasters after learning about the physics applied in amusement park rides.

Students have been given specific criteria and constraints that their coasters have to meet prior to the testing day this Friday. The roller coaster design that takes the longest amount of time with the least amount of materials will win the class competition.

Next week students will wrap up the project with a sales pitch to showcase why their roller coaster is the best. Winners will also be selected for the best theme/decoration per class. Good luck to all teams!
