BCLSD UPDATED Closure Orders & Plans
Dear BC Staff and Families:

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and flexibility with the rapidly evolving situation involving the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). We are all in this together and it has placed all of us in unchartered waters. Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health issued an executive order closing all K-12 public schools through the remainder of the school year.

The challenges associated with the long-term school closure are abundant and unprecedented for our students, families, and staff. This situation is unfortunate; however, our students, staff, and community are resilient. We will get through this difficult time together. I am humbled and thankful every single day that I get the opportunity to work for the students of the Bloom-Carroll Local School District - even in these unbelievably challenging moments.

We will provide additional communication as events unfold.

Please contact your child’s school with additional questions.

Respectfully,

Shawn Haughn
Superintendent
