As the winter months approach, we want our families to be prepared for possible school delays, closings, and early dismissals. Planning ahead can help to reduce the scheduling conflicts and address the supervision needs your child(ren) may have in the event of a closing, delay or early dismissal.
There is not a specific set of weather related criteria to determine a closing, delay, or early dismissal. Each event of inclement weather can produce multiple variables influencing a decision. Road conditions in one township or village may be very different from another part of the district. We will use several communication resources to notify your family when the school schedule is impacted by the weather.
