The Bloom-Carroll FFA Chapter has had an incredible spring — capped off with a week full of recognition and achievements at the Ohio FFA State Convention in Columbus!
Highlights include:
• Ryan Bender (Treasurer) and Alayna Byrd (Secretary) received gold-rated officer pins for their outstanding officer books.
• Henry Hoisington, Ryan Bender, Reagan Bender, and Sadie Moore earned 1st place in the Ag Sales contest and will represent Ohio at the National Convention this fall!
• Alaina Bell, Ryan Bender, and Sadie Moore were awarded their Ohio FFA State Degrees — the highest honor a member can receive in Ohio FFA.
• Addison Holowitz placed 3rd in the state for her Agriscience Research project in Plant Systems, Division 3.
• Lacie Bachman, this year’s Ohio FFA State Secretary, placed 3rd in the state for her Proficiency Award based on her business, Sunny Hill Mini Aussies.
• And a huge congratulations to Henry Hoisington for being selected as the 2025–2026 Ohio FFA State Vice-President!
