New Student Registration and Scheduling
Dates have been set for new student registration at Bloom-Carroll High School. Parents of high school students new to the district must call Michelle Scott, District Registrar, at 614-834-6729 in order to make an appointment. Dates available to complete this process are July 17 through the start of the school year. A custodial parent must accompany the student during registration. Information needed for registration includes a birth certificate, proof of residence (for example, utility bills, rent receipts, etc.), and a parent photo identification. Other items which may be necessary, if applicable, are custody papers and a current IEP/ETR/504 Plan for students who receive special services.
Junior Journal Spring
It is that time of year when juniors are trying to complete this school year and also planning ahead for their senior, and last, year of high school. Moving on to the 12th grade is a time of mixed emotions for most students - glad that school will finally be completed, but knowing that there are classmates, teachers and others whom they will be seeing for the last year.
Summer School Options
BCHS students now have access to Career Cruising, a website with multiple tools to assist students in their high school, college and career planning. This site is for any student, no matter what his or her post-graduation plans are, whether college, work, apprenticeship, or the military. Every student has been assigned a username and password. The site also has a link to Method Test Prep, which is FREE online ACT and SAT test preparation. In order to log on, use the Quick Links on the HS Guidance webpage. If for any reason your log-in information does not work, contact your guidance counselor.
