Our food service department understands that sometimes a student will forget or lose their money, so we do allow charges to a limit of $10. Please understand that this is to be paid back right away. We will let your child know if they are running low on money and remind them if they are out of money. Parents can also designate that they do not want their child to be allowed to charge or make certain purchases. To put any purchasing restrictions on a student’s account or if you are unsure of a charge, please contact our office.

We strongly encourage parents to prepay for their student’s meals on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. You can prepay through the serving line, by mail, or on the school’s website. If you would like to send money with your child, please put your child’s name on it and let us know if you would like to receive change. Otherwise, the whole amount will be put on the account. If you have more than one student, you can send one check for all students. Just send a note to designate student names and how much for each student. To make payments online, go to BloomCarroll.com and click on the EZ-Pay site. You will create an account and put in your child’s student ID number. If you need your child’s ID number, call our office. You will be able to make deposits into your child’s meal account and check their account balance.*Please, keep in mind that any amount put on a student account will not show as being in the account until the next day, i.e. if you put money on your child’s account in the morning, it will not be showing in the account by lunchtime. Any balance in your child’s account at the end of the year will be carried over to the next school year.

*FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS: If your child(ren) were eligible for free/reduced meals last year, please remember to submit a new free/reduced form. Last year’s eligibility will expire on September 16, 2016. Please submit a new application before this date to assure there is no interruption in your child’s benefits. Any charges accrued after that will be your responsibility. Please do not worry that other students will know that your child participates in our free and reduced program. With our Point of Sale system, the student’s status cannot be detected by others. If you would like to see if your family qualifies, please fill out a form. Forms may be obtained from the school’s website or call your school’s office to get one sent home with your child.

Children need healthy meals to learn. We offer healthy meals every day at our schools. We are looking forward to another great year. Please contact our office if you have any questions. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
